We are looking for a skilled Platform / DevOps Engineer to join a team responsible for a critical platform used for the diagnostics, monitoring, and performance analysis of complex high-tech machines within a large international corporate environment. You will be responsible for building, automating, and maintaining the infrastructure and platform services that enable development teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently. You will work closely with software engineers, architects, and operations teams to improve reliability, scalability, observability, and deployment automation across a diverse technology landscape.
The team you will be joining operates in a broad and diverse technology landscape. Experience across multiple infrastructure, platform, automation, and software engineering domains is highly valued, particularly with the following:
Must-have: Linux administration and troubleshooting (RHEL 7/8/9); Ansible
Configuration Management: Puppet, Chef
CI/CD: Jenkins, Bamboo
Scripting/Automation: Python, Bash, PowerShell
Containerization: Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Rancher, Podman
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
Cloud: Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki
Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle
Testing: InSpec, Robot Framework, PyTest
Development environments: Java and/or .NET
Ways of working: Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices
Design, implement, and maintain platform infrastructure supporting business-critical applications and services.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software delivery.
Manage and support Linux-based environments (RHEL 7/8/9).
Deploy, operate, and optimize containerized workloads on Kubernetes platforms.
Develop automation solutions and operational tooling using scripting languages.
Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
Collaborate closely with software development teams and other infrastructure domains.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, platform, and deployment issues.
Contribute to platform architecture, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure platform reliability, security, and operational excellence through automation and testing.
