Ingsoftware is a full-cycle software development company that started in a garage in Niš seventeen years ago. Today, we're a remote-first community of tech lovers working with clients across industries to build software that creates real value. We're looking for a new Product Manager to join our Product Strategy team.
About the role
Do you enjoy exploring business challenges, understanding users, and turning complex ideas into clear, usable software solutions?
As a Product Manager at Ingsoftware, you'll collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to shape product direction, lead discovery conversations, and translate business needs into thoughtful functional designs and actionable requirements. This role combines product thinking, business analysis, and client collaboration. You'll have the opportunity to work across different industries and contribute throughout the product lifecycle.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead discovery sessions and workshops with clients to understand their business goals, challenges, and user needs.
- Help shape product vision, priorities, and roadmaps in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Turn business requirements into functional designs, including user flows, feature behavior, states, edge cases, and business rules.
- Create clear product specifications, process maps, and user stories that development teams can work with.
- Prioritize requirements by balancing user value, business objectives, and technical feasibility.
- Collaborate closely with designers and developers to refine requirements, clarify decisions, and support delivery.
- Validate solutions and identify improvements using user research, feedback, usability testing, and available product data.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities when needed, including discovery, scoping, estimations, and proposal preparation.
You might be a great fit if you:
- Have around 5 or more years of relevant experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, or similar roles in software development, including hands-on work on software solutions.
- Understand software development processes and can work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Have experience facilitating client-facing discovery sessions or workshops.
- Can translate complex business needs into well-structured requirements and detailed functional designs.
- Know how to balance business priorities, user expectations, and technical constraints.
- Communicate clearly and confidently in English, both in writing and in conversations and presentations.
- Bring strong analytical thinking, curiosity, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach
Bonus points for:
- Experience using product analytics, user research, or customer feedback to inform decisions and evaluate outcomes.
- Experience with pre-sales, estimation, proposals, or statements of work (SOWs).
What you can expect from us:
- Opportunities to work across different industries with diverse global clients and interesting software challenges.
- A company that's neither a startup nor a corporation, with an agile, collaborative way of working.
- A remote-first approach and flexible working hours that support work-life balance.
- A feedback culture that values psychological safety, learning, and professional growth.
- Additional vacation days, private health insurance, longer Wednesday breaks, Research Hours, and Friday Tech Talks.
Sound like a good match? We'd love to hear from you!
