We are looking for someone who ticks most of these boxes:
- Has solid, hands-on experience in manual testing: functional, integration, regression, smoke, exploratory, and end-to-end;
- Is comfortable designing test scenarios, test cases, and regression suites from requirements, acceptance criteria, and system documentation;
- Has practical experience with Jira and Xray for test management and defect tracking;
- Understands API testing using Postman or Bruno, including request/response and payload validation, HTTP status codes, and integration testing;
- Is confident writing SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting;
- Has experience with test automation using Playwright and TypeScript;
- Knows how to work across DEV, QA, and Production environments, including production support and analysis;
- Is comfortable reading logs in Elastic and Azure/Application logs to investigate issues;
- Has experience with ServiceNow or similar tools for support and incident management, and is familiar with root-cause analysis;
- Is familiar with Git/GitLab and has a basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, including pipeline monitoring and release validation;
- Feels at home in an Agile/Scrum, sprint-based way of working, with strong analytical thinking and attention to detail;
- Communicates clearly, both with developers and cross-functional teams, and isn't shy about pushing a defect through to resolution.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing and executing manual and automated tests for Jira tickets and new features;
- Performing regression testing to safeguard existing functionality;
- Reviewing failed automation tests, analyzing failures, and determining whether the root cause lies in the application, test data, environment, or automation itself;
- Creating and maintaining test cases and test steps aligned with requirements and acceptance criteria;
- Reporting and documenting bugs with clear, reproducible steps;
- Monitoring ServiceNow tickets and open defects daily, investigating reported issues, and collaborating with developers and other teams to see defects through to resolution;
- Contributing to release support by validating deployments and monitoring pipeline results;
- Participating in defect triage and sprint ceremonies as part of the wider Agile team.
